Q: Is there something that can counter supersensitivity receptors? Something like shrink or dullen it, analogous to alcohol or sugar does to shrink brain mass/grey matter?

chemically, i don't know, but from experience strenuous activity has the effect of shrinking the mind sometimes, albeit temporarily. i suppose you'd have to repeat your "dose" every day which, wouldnt be a bad thing at all really. i think the best way to quiet the mind is to become a body.

I read this runner's autobiography where he talked about his old life doing drugs, and then turned to running. Intense sweating and oxgenation, he said (I think), detoxified his brain, or something to that effect.
